REGDOC-1.1.3, Licence Application Guide: Licence to Operate a Nuclear Power Plant
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) sets out requirements and guidance for submitting a formal application to obtain a licence for a nuclear power plant (NPP) in Canada.
This regulatory document is used to assess all licence to-operate applications for proposed new NPPs and renewals for existing NPPs.
Once the Commission has granted a licence, the safety and control measures described in the licence application and in this regulatory document will form part of the licensing basis.
