Various types of leave such as:
Annual Leave
- 15 days to start, or
- At the date of hire, an indeterminate employee may be granted the same entitlements as with the previous employer, subject to certain criteria
One-Time Replacement Leave
- One-time entitlement of 5 days after 1 year of continuous service
Sick Leave
- 1.25 days per month (accumulative)
Family-Related Leave
- Up to 5 days per fiscal year
Designated Paid Holidays
- 11 days
Different types of Leave Without Pay such as:
Care and Nurturing
- From 3 weeks to 5 years
Compassionate Leave (RL1 to RL4)
- Top up allowance up to 95% for a period of 6 weeks if in receipt of Employment Insurance
Education Leave
- Up to 3 years
Maternity/Parental Leave
- Leave entitlements of 18 weeks maternity and 34 weeks of parental for a total of 52 weeks
- Top up allowance of up to 95% for RL1 to RL4 and excluded staff and 93% for RL5 to RL7.
Relocation of Spouse
- From 3 months up to 1 year
