RAD Women in Canada webinar

Join us April 6, 2021 for a webinar co-hosted by the CNSC and the Canadian Radiation Protection Association (CPRA).

The event will showcase the lives and careers of Canadian women at various stages working in radiation sciences and the broader nuclear industry. The webinar will be moderated by CRPA President, Ali Shoushtarian and will consist of an hour-long interactive Q&A session with panelists inspired by questions submitted by attendees in advance.
Panelists include:

  • Julie Leblanc, Radiation and Health Sciences Officer, CNSC
  • Haidy Tadros, Director General, Environmental and Radiation Protection and Assessment, CNSC
  • Debora Quayle, Research Manager, Radiation Protection Bureau, Health Canada
  • Lisa McBride, President, Women In Nuclear Canada
  • Diana Moscu, President-Elect, Canadian Radiation Protection Association

The CNSC is committed to fostering an inclusive and diversified environment where everyone feels supported and encouraged to contribute equally. As such, participation extends beyond women; everyone is welcome and encouraged to join. Post-secondary students, recent graduates and industry professionals and those with interest in radiation protection, and women in the industry are invited to attend.
