Public hearings about environmental assessments taking place in Port Hope

2008

Cameco Corporation’s Vision 2010 Decommissioning Project (November 2008)

Cameco Corporation (Cameco) intends to redevelop its Port Hope Conversion Facility in Port Hope, Ontario. The purpose of the Vision 2010 project would be to decommission a number of old or underutilized buildings; remove contaminated soils, building materials and stored historic wastes; transport those soils and wastes to storage and disposal sites; and construct new replacement buildings.
