The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) is issuing for public review and comment a draft regulatory standard, S-213, Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Nuclear Facilities.
The draft standard sets out the quality assurance (QA) program that a licensee shall implement when required to be so by a condition of an applicable licence in respect of:
The CNSC invites interested persons to assist in the further development of this draft regulatory document by commenting in writing on the document’s content and potential usefulness. Please respond by April 15, 2004. Direct your comments to the postal or e-mail address below, referencing file 1-8-8-213.
The CNSC will take the comments received on the draft regulatory document into account when developing it further. These comments will be subject to the provisions of the federal Access to Information Act.
